We want our website to feel like our best product demo. That means it has to be fast on a low-end Android on 3G — not just on a fast laptop.
The hardest thing was choosing restraint. Every animation we cut made the site stronger. Every image we removed made it faster. The job is not to show skill; it's to show understanding.
